Learn about the new telephone and document translation services partner Ad Astra and how to utilize the services they offer to serve your clients language translation needs in the IV-D office. We will walk through the process of determining the client’s spoken and written languages and of using the invaluable services Ad Astra provides. We will cover best practices for scheduled events and how to request document translation and authentication when needed. We will also cover the AOPC language access policy and how to work with your county’s language access coordinator to assure that a court certified translator is available for Domestic Relations hearings with judges and hearing officers.
