The training will explore common verbal and nonverbal cues exhibited by survivors, explain why trauma may cause survivors to appear inconsistent or unbelievable, and provide practical guidance on having safe, trauma-informed conversations. Participants will also learn strategies for discreetly connecting individuals with domestic violence services and explore the critical role of collaboration between Domestic Relations offices and domestic violence programs in promoting safety and improving outcomes for families.
