This session will cover how the courts handle Americans with Disabilities Act requests for reasonable accommodations and language access requests. You will learn about the ADA, how to handle requests for access, and what to do when you’re stumped. We will also discuss the Unified Judicial System's Language Access Plan, when an in-person interpreter is required under the interpreter regulations (204 Pa. Code Ch. 221), and how to mitigate the risk of federal investigations.
